Many people seem to believe that PC satellite TV channels aren't really TV channels at all. In fact, it is common enough to find people talking about how they are essentially just pre-recorded content that is streamed onto the internet. Of course, this would affect you in many ways if it is true - not the least of which being the fact that it would make watching live sports games impossible!
Fortunately it isn't true. While there are some types of PC satellite TV channels (in particular those web-based ones) that tend to pre-record content and stream it across the internet on demand, the truth is that the general client-based variety of PC satellite TV channels tend to be live. Granted, there may be a minute or so delay, but that's normal.
If you were to just head to Google right now and search for PC satellite TV channels that allow you to watch sports live, you'll come up with tons and tons of possibilities. Truth be told, if there is any sporting event going on anywhere in the world nowadays, you can find some way to stream it live onto your PC - and in some cases without even requiring a client.
Admittedly, you might not want to do so because the video quality of some of the less reputable PC satellite TV channels can be pretty shoddy - but it is still better than missing the match entirely, right? End of the day the options are out there and it is up to you whether or not you want to use them.
Many of the sites that you find offering live sports over PC satellite TV channels will require you to install their own client. Some use the more popular clients out there, but others don't, and you could very well find yourself ending up with two or three different clients to run different programs from different sources.
All said and done, the only thing that you should really be careful of when downloading random clients is to protect your PC against spyware and other malicious programs that might be parceled into such clients.
Certain clients have also been known to contain Adware, which you might want to keep an eye out for as well.
With live sports now available through the internet, there is no reason why you should ever miss your favorite matches ever again. So long as you have a laptop and an internet connection you should be able to stream the entire game and enjoy it to the fullest!
